I'm inspired by feathers as always. I came across these images of a collection by Lui Hon, who has worked feathers into his Spring Summer collection. I really like the feathered trousers, I think most of it has been ripped off royally by the high street already, except for feathered trousers - which I like the sound of....
The collection was inspired by his sister, who outside of the feathers has inspired a collection of mainly black geometrical designs. The pieces, while more structured then his previous designs are layered and can be worn in several different ways - his attention to fabric as always, means that the drape and the fit on the body is perfection and something he takes very seriously.
mind you, it would take a woman with more balls then me to attempt the feathered skirt!
Incase anyone doesn't know too much about the designer, originally born in Malaysia, he then moved to Australia where he completed his degree in 1999 and also competed in Australia's Project Runway and his work has since been displayed in Glamour, GQ, Vogue, Indesign and Harpers Bazaar.
