Ubisoft reveals to be producing five games for PS5 and XBOX Scarlett

Producer is already producing games for the next generation of consoles.

Following a conference call from Ubisoft this week, company co-founder and CEO Yves Guillemot answered a few questions for investors and reporters. In the Conversation, Yves revealed that the newly delayed Watch Dogs Legion, Gods & Monsters and Rainbow Six: Quarantine will be intergenerational games, meaning that they will appear on current consoles (Xbox One and PlayStation 4) and their successors (Xbox Scarlett and PlayStation 5). He also said two other unannounced games would follow the same release plan.
"The five titles, yes, will be in this generation and the next generation, and will make the most of all the new features coming up with the machines, which will be really extremely interesting for gamers," said Guillemot. “You will be able to download new content much faster, players will experience better frame rates; there are many very good elements that will come with these new machines. ”
Sony and Microsoft are targeting the end of 2020 for the release of their respective video games. Ubisoft has not said how much Watch Dogs Legion, Rainbow Six: Quarantine and Gods & Monsters are exactly behind, but don't be surprised if one or all of them align with new releases from Sony and Microsoft.
In related news, the PS5 may be compatible with all PlayStation games. Backward compatibility was one of the community's biggest wishes for the PlayStation 5, and it looks as if Sony will do it. But it can do even better than that. In the latest rumors on the subject, there is a possibility that the PS5 will not only be able to play games on the PS4, but also on all PlayStation.
